So let me get this straight.
They nerfed switching jungle items for free because junglers would just switch to the best late game smite before they upgraded. So what excuse is there not to do the same with trinkets?

That would be a nerf to ADC's, and then thy might not be able to make #LCSBIGPLAYS
Trinkets are free to start with.
