I'm half expecting Riot to call in Malicious Metal to help with Mord's second rework

Just think of all the ways he'll be able to help them

As much as I'd love to I doubt I'm qualified for such an undertaking. Suggestions and nudges in the right direction, yes, but that's something any Mordekaiser fan could do :)

haha, I meant exactly what you said, suggestions and generalizations about what mord's kit should look like. No one expects you to actually make the kit or anything of that sort haha
They shouldn't talk to anyone who is a "Morde main". For some reason, Morde mains are in love with his old toxic gameplay, and stat checking nature.
I think that old "toxic" nature is 10x better than his new "fun and counterable" gameplay
-Someone who almost never played old morde

his new gameplay consists of this: can you instantly burst them with empowered Q? if yes: kill. if not: pound sand in hell.
the thought process, zoning, and positioning of old morde is completely gone for "LOL ME BASH FACES IN" instead of deftly weaving abilities and decision making with good positioning.
there is absolutely nothing wrong with a champ that is based on good decision making rather than reckless abandonmechanics
His thought process rivaled Vladimirs. There was never a reason not to use E. You could tank any amount of poke, and maybe even deal damage to your opponent. Don't get me wrong, new Mordekaiser isn't amazing, but at least he has to get into melee range to do damage. And at least he can be poked out of lane, allowing your jungler to pick someone without amazing ganks / early game presence.
At this point, you can argue skillcap. I remember watching Cowsep explain his decision making for a Master Yi play in a video once, and he made it seem like Yi was this incredibly high skill champion. That's part of it. Mordekaisers skillcap and skillfloor were incredibly similar. Not saying they aren't now, but it's better than it was.
-- Ignore the double negatives.

I agree with most of what you're saying, but you cannot tell me that Yi is NOT a high skill cap champion, especially after citing Cowsep vids. Dude makes Master Yi seem like the Azir of melee champions, micromanaging his W like a god.

When you have a champion who is based around stat checking, who plays them?
People who love stat checking.
Not saying that's the only reason people played morde, just saying "for some reason" is actually pretty expected.

Still better than he is now. I'd rather have toxic top lane Mordekaiser than abomination Morde ADC. edit: formatting
How about neither ideally. Or wait and see what morde bot is like when he isnt blatantly OP, but I think his q ability is just dumb as it is
most mord mains want a new rework as far as I've seen

Idk man, I am pretty sure 1 shot with a single skill that is not even ultimate and passive dragon raid boss is more stat checking than anything Morde has ever had.
A rework that addresses no problems and instead has only make them worse is not a good rework.
In what ways exactly? lel
Best move would be to revert
why not solomon
Dear metal Lord yes .
Yea when they get to it in a few years.
Didn't he get exposed for buying a stolen account and tanking its MMR?
Anyway sure, if it'll get him to stop flooding the boards with tears.
Yes, and let us have a Vayne main work on Vayne and a RIven main work on RIven. Having another player work with RIot is way more likely to cause chaos than healing..
Whatever they do, I hope they keep his new q thing. I honestly find it very fun. 1! 2!! 3!!! SMASH! It's the greatest. Almost makes up for the brutal lane phase against the likes of Lucian who destroy you
I don't think it's smart to hope for a second Morde rework in the next year, if at all. But I do think after all the community backlash there will be a bit more discussion between the design team and the most dedicated of the champ's player base before putting a rework on live.
Doubtful he is getting a second rework. Community reaction to Mord is about as intense as it was with Cassiopeia, except while Mord came out overpowered Cassi came out trash tier. So if history says anything they are probably going to give half-hearted reworks to a couple of his abilities 2 months from now and claim he's "fixed".
Don't get your hopes up.
I agree that someone form the community should help work on a Mordekaiser re-rework. Malicious Metal is a pretty reasonable guy form what I can read from his posts, so he would definitely be up to the task. If anyone ever says we should completely rework Mordekaiser though, I'm gonna get pretty upset. In the majority of matchups, Mordekaiser could just stomp others because of his Iron Man passive, so there was literally nothing the enemy could do. Going the bruiser direction is much healthier, but right now he relies on the gimmicky exp passive and the dragon way too much. His Q is horribly unreliable and hits way too hard when it does land. I would much rather see the damage spaced across all 3 basic attacks instead of on the final one. I have no problem with juggernauts existing, I just have a problem with them being gimmicky and overpowered. Overall, I like the new Mordekaiser much better, but he definitely needs some work. On the PBE, they are nerfing his W passive, so that should tune him down a bit, but he will still be ridiculous. Anyway, I've never played Mordekaiser before so take everything I say with a grain of salt.
