Quinn and Graves Too Strong Top-lane

I respect Quinn and Graves uniqueness among the roster as being marksman/fighters, but they can deal adc-level damage and take it back. They make decent adcs, not too powerful or weak, but in the top lane, they have numerous tools to counter most toplaners that you can't work around. Even champions you'd think would counter them well aren't going to succeed.

Despite Poppy having one of the few abilities in the game that stops enemy dashes, it's hard to time against Quinn's Vault and even harder to punish her for failing it. Shen can block attacks before taunting in and slashing, but still loses against top-lane Graves. The trick to playing a melee Bruiser versus a marksman is to wait for the best moment before flashing in their face, doing so versus these two is a death sentence because they're going to use their dashes to make that gap again and relentlessly fill you full of holes. If there is a way to counter these two in the top lane, I'm not seeing it.

And I'm not saying "OMG, so OP, Rito nerf dis champ!!!", I more just want them better geared for their favored position so they don't excel against everyone except someone who doesn't play top lane. Perhaps count the amount of people that play Graves/Quinn bot-lane adc to top-lane bruiser and adjust damage/health to better suit the more popular role.

I reckon you play a mage top lane.

So by this logic, vayne, tristana, kalista, lucian, caitlin, and ezreal are op top lane champions... You shit on their team in team fights due to lack of cc and tanks. Lane phase will suck, but that's not a good reason to make changes. That's healthy.

No, because those marksman are weak. They cannot take damage and that's why they are adcs, because they need a support. Even if you manage to get directly in Graves/Quinn's face, they can withstand your assault, but all the champs you mentioned (unless you build offtank, but then you're being an idiot because their damage is really lackluster) cannot withstand such a fight and would get bursted down in a second.

Graves gets tanky if you sight him once he's stacked the passive. That's the time to fight him- before he's been able to stack it. And you can fight him for free if you keep a minion between you and him. I'm not sure how you feel quinn can take damage.... She has nothing to mitigate damage.

Graves getting 4k+ gold worth of stats by stacking up true grit is just his high end power case, play around it and don't be in drawn out engage with him. If Quinn is taking a hit and living then you aren't hitting very hard.

Sounds to me like your mechanics could use work if you are unable to stop Vault with Steadfast Presence. Not every champion is suited to lane against another, there are weak and strong matchups in this game. Some champions are also more specialized than others such as Illaoi being a heavy damage, zero mobility and cc juggernaut while gnar does have mobility and cc and is arguably more flexible.

You are calling for "adjustments" because you are inable to properly handle these champions. I'd say youre asking Riot to nerf these champions. I'm going to be downvoted for this but perhaps getting good at the game could solve your issue.
