Ahri hasn't been below 50% winrate since Patch 5.2

Which was was almost 2 years ago...most of the time she has been between 52-54% winrate while also constantly being one of the 5 most played midlaners in the game. Right now she has both the 2nd highest play- and winrate for midlane.

I know this community is full of kids who jerk off to her and I can understand Riot keeps her strong on purpose to sell more skins and merchandise but let's be real here....she is way too easy and safe for how strong she is...literally 0 weaknesses or hard lane matchups. She has sustain, hard cc, true damage and tons of mobility in her kit and while her dmg isn't the highest it is still pretty solid.

Please give this champion actual weaknesses or atleast make her harder to play again. When she had the damage amp on E (and lower dmg in the rest of her kit) she actually required some skill to play and better players actually were rewarded and could distinguish themselves from the average Ahri player. Her winrate for Ahri mains now is only like 1,5% higher than for the general person who plays Ahri because she has a super low skill cap.

So yeah, my suggestion is to remove her unneeded movement speed boost on Q and give her E the dmg amp back. Then slightly adjust her dmg numbers. That would make it possible to actually punish her in lane before 6 or when her Q is on cooldown. Right now if you wanna gank Ahri after level 6 you basically have to wait till she blows her Q, her E, 3 uls and flash if you wanna touch her. Honestly...why does she need to get rewarded with 550 ms for pressing Q? Atleast have it hit a champion in order to trigger it.

Take cover before Ahri-Waifus flood this topic with their "shes fine, l2p".

And i agree, shes bullshit, unkillable pice of shit with aoe true damage, sustain, cc without cooldown and 4 flashes.

Win rate isn't everything.

She's got an okay pick rate and a low ban rate. Most people know how to play against her. She's not the worst champ to lane against. She falls off after 30 minutes so stalling out works against her. She's weak to CC. Little children scare her. She has to hit her charm to do anything and that's not difficult to dodge and you can just position yourself behind minions during laning. She's very average in kills and CS so you can get a gold lead on her with the right champ.

She's substantially weaker than she used to be. DFG removal, Charm damage amp removal, some number changes, etc. were all shoved onto her within a few patches, then the Q ms was added to buff her weak laning phase, then her passive heal was nerfed (which really hurt her sustain and trade potential.) She might be a safe pick, but to get ahead in lane, or to even stay relevant, Ahri has to abuse the mistakes of the opponents while also keeping herself in check. The only real counter she provides is to Syndra, due to mobility, sustain, and cooldowns. Other than that, Ahri is outlaned by the average mid (Ziggs, Viktor, Xerath, Zed, Karma, Vel'Koz, Lux). The reason Ahri is ever doing well is the player behind her, not the champion. Champion has a large skill curve and high skill ceiling. The skill floor is average for those that want to get into the game, notice an attractive anime-esque foxgirl, play her, and start to expand their champion pool from there as well as play more. The items Ahri purchases vary from matchup to matchup, such as a Ludens rush, Zhonyas for AD mids, Morellos against other machine gun mages, abyssal for passive play, etc etc. The champion is versatile, as well as her kit catering to different playstyles. Items can be bought on Ahri to create a burst pattern playstyle, a sustained damage playstyle, a passive playstyle, or a complete glass cannon. Ahri finds it difficult to lane against engage laners, such as Yasuo or Zed or Talon or Fizz or Akali or anything else that hits hard as well as closes the safety gap she has with Charm and Spirit Rush. The reason she's had a healthy winrate of ~50% is the players that pick her are confident in their laning and are able to adapt to situations, using the champion's kit and ability to abuse mistakes to their advantage.

Yeah she's been needing pretty big nerfs for over almost 2 years now, but she's one of those special snowflakes that gets to stay strong forever

Winrate doesn't mean much and ahri has been the paradym of where this game is supposed to go since worlds S2

Ahri is allowed to be strong because she's good for this game

Ahri will always be strong when mages are being counterpicked because she's a countercounter

This is pretty much an effort in futility. Ahri is Riot's baby, in that she's type of champion that Riot encourages to be played. Her playerbase(and a lot of the community in general it seems) insists she's fine because she apparently doesn't excel anything.

I don't believe she has been over the top for a really good while.

why does ahri or any specific champ need to be punished? She can lane safely, get over it.

[slayer-pantheon-popcorn] Not entirely certain as to whether or not I should hand this individual a tissue for their QQ or a pacifier.

Her winrate looks unjustified.

Until you realize that the meta midlaners for the last two season have been immobile mages.

Ahri punishes immobility.

People counterpick themselves by trying to pick their meta mages into Ahri and then whine that she dashes circles around them.

Vekkna12/14/2016, 10:40:43 PM1 votes

The only problem with her is her passive, imo. I play against her more far more than I play as her, and I don't think she's fundamentally broken.

The only issue is that her mobility makes her too good at evading all-ins, and her passive makes her too good at winning attrition wars with other mages. I feel like you should have one of those strengths, not both.

She's a lot like Lux before they nerfed Lux's shield. The risk/reward balance is just a little askew, and I think the passive is what needs to get hit. I'd like to see her passive changed scaling % MS on ability use to emphasize her roam-and-kite identity.

Plus, we need some mages who can actually do something about MS stacking juggernauts now that Ryali's is dead.

I am a very high elo Ahri main, and to be honest she is balanced. She is not op and not a bad pick. She is not even close to as good as syndra, brand, Karma, leblanc (1v1), and annie can crush her. She can not cut through tanks well. If it is an equal game. Ahri can not kill poppy, naut, graves, zac, etc. She is great at laning and has strong pick potential and outplay potential but she is not overpowered. At higher elo people can easily beat her. Especially with a proper team comp. With a proper team comp Ahri really struggles.
