She's my 3rd most played champion. Nerfing Duskblade is going to hurt her a lot, especially by that much. Quinn has been pretty much forced into being a ranged assassin, and these recent nerfs to one of her core items will make her a lot less viable.

Is it an unhealthy item? yeah, I think it is. Maybe Buff Quinn more? Those buffs on PBE are more quality of life changes than anything else.

Hell maybe even rework Quinn again... I don't know. All I know is that this nerf is going to make her worse.

Honestly i welcome the change, given she's getting some minor quality of life buffs and she never felt like she needed duskblade when going for a crit build (ER->Shiv or PD->IE feels really nice to use)

The only thing that it feels like is missing from a lethality build is vision control and maybe movespeed, but it's not like you can't fit ghostblade into it.

Source: Quinn is my fifth most played champion (she has 141k mastery on this acc, and is getting closer to surpassing Soraka and becoming my forth most played every day).

The one thing I don't like about Quinn not getting directly compensated for Duskblade is that it does seem like it has the chance to kill one of her builds off, which I don't like. Even if I don't like the armor pen build, I like that it's an option. Hopefully it'll remains so after the changes. We'll just have to see.

Agreed, I usually build hybrid on Quinn.

I get Duskblade and ghost blade, then go straight into crit. I'm not sure how everyone else builds her lol but that's how I do.

And since Duskblade is my first item I usually rely on it heavily to keep my lead in lane. Plus, it helps keep my other laners in the lead when I roam.

Hopefully this doesn't affect me too much

Did you see the changes they are looking to make to give Quinn Quality of Life changes and general gameplay improvements?

The duskblade nerf won't be so bad for her after they clean up her ease of use to make her more powerful.

I'm just saying she's losing a lot of damage because duskblade is usually a core item on her. At least for me.

Perhaps, but she's gaining a lot from the ease of use changes. Chances are she's going to feel much better to use once those QoL changes hit live. Lethality may not be as good for her anymore, but more normal marksman itemization should work better for her than before.

I don't really want to build regular marksmen on her though... Her kit isn't meant for that imo. But oh well

I'm with you, she was much more fun as an assassin / scout. I liked her way better before the rework that turned Valor into a glorified taxi. (Honestly nothing about her rework pissed me off more than that. He's supposed to be a fucking companion that helps her fight, not a stupid taxi that has no combat use.)

Unfortunately with the direction Riot is taking her, she's becoming more and more of a marksman. I'm willing to wait and see, but I also don't think they are going to support her assassin playstyle like they should.
