Old Urgot ultimate
I always liked the idea of this ability. I think that the position swap aspect of the ult made it one of the more interesting ults in the game. I hope that something similar will be added to a future champ.

I hope not, they could just just go a inting strategy were they become worth nothing, swap with the strongest enemy on the other team, and kill him

If this was a viable strategy people would have been using it on old Urgot. Also if the strongest opponent is anything but a tank why would they be positioned in front of their team to be ulted?

of course it wouldnt work with old urgots ult, but if they do come up with something similar like he stated, then it could be possible depending on what it is, and either way, I dont want to deal with it, Im already dealing with zoe's in my life
"Oh no people might use this ability to int/troll games! Better not implement it!"

I doubt it, they are slowly phasing out more point and click abilities, Urgot’s dash is as close as you are gonna get.
it was interesting but ultimately useless. I recall a thread where people tried rewording ultimates to make them sound useless(pantheon falls) and one dude got the most upvotes by copying and pasting urgot's ult straight from the wiki.
The move's major issue is that it's nothing special as a catch-out mechanic, but as initiation it mandates a full tank kit to survive the result, yet it needs to get ahead in lane to the tune of a full item or more to have the required stats to accomplish that. When full tanks reliably get ahead in lane by that much, the champion is rightly considered broken, getting nerfs. It turns the ulti into a 1 for 1 move and negates any advantage the user ever built up.
you could sometimes find a weird use for it mid team fight rather than near the start, and it would be nice to take certain enemies
out of their comfort zones/put them into bad ones, but that's not a reliable set of effects to design an ultimate around. Even a normal move like this would be hard pressed to be reliably helpful.
Ironically I didn't mean that, it's just part of my speech pattern.
.....
I need to get better at lying and taking credit for stuff, don't I?
Zoe's ult kind of works like Urgot's.
