Is there still a place for non-aggressive players in league?

I do like some of the changes, but for players like me who prefer a more cerebral approach to the game this patch is like a death sentence.

It is an amazing patch for balls to the wall aggressive players though, so I guess that's something .

No, gtfo. Starvation games are boring. [only sort of kidding]

Non-aggressive players don't always rely on starvation tactics, although starvation tactics are a non-aggressive strategy.

Basically a non-aggressive play is any where you allow the opponent the initiative rather than trying to take the initiative yourself. Things like trading objectives rather than fighting them is innately a non-aggressive play, even although it would be considered as a proactive play it's still a reacting to your opponent rather than forcing them to react to you.

To answer the question yes, non aggressive play will have a place in League as long as there is more than one objective on the map. Overall I'd still say this patch tips far too heavily into the favour of aggressive play.

According to the latest video on the patch changes, no. Non aggressive players can't win this meta.

Probably the most likely reason. They need to maintain LOL as a spectator game. Something fun to watch.

But I wouldn't necessarily say flashy means aggressive. I would think that a cool, calculating person can still make flashy play, even if they are not hyper aggressive. But also keep in mind that Riot is trying to cut down on the games already long play time. So Tactics that stall out the game, are probably not going to work anymore.

if Riot could put the players in a cage fighting tigers at the 20 min mark to keep people entertained and cash incoming, they´ll do it without hesitation

I know right. Unless youre team has an adc or an ad assassin. You almost always lose. Very unbalanced
