How to get out of bronze?

Been playing since 2011, and was set in bronze for last season. My problem is I can do fine in my lane, and play fine. But my team mates throw the game, when I am going top lane or support bot , my role is to support my adc or take over top lane so I have no control over what the rest of the team does. Almost all of my games, I get a somewhat decent score if not positive in ranked. Yet my team mates will get negative scores and make us lose. So... I have no control over this, is it just not possible to get out of bronze once you're in it?

So uh lol imma assume ur a troll, but if your arent then you have not looked at your match history. You never do better then something like 13/10 in which thats not that good and then u have 0/17 and 1/20 games. i think you start to feed when you get behind? Well if your a troll nice job wasting time if your not then your toxic, probably have a bad attiude, and are really bad mechanically.

Yea Just looked at it too. OP don't say you are wondering why you are still in bronze when I look at your match history for the end of 2014 and (i guess) fed, got mad, then decided to build Mobility boots. Maybe you changed your ways because it looks like in your most recent matches you seem to be trying. I don't know.

Don't come to the board though questioning why you are still in bronze when it is clear that you troll in your ranked games.

I do not believe an adequate answer to this question exists. If you don't place out of bronze during your qualifiers, you may be screwed.

Ranked is a measurement of one's skill level. Every rank placement challenges you on a new level. When you learn how to carry as a fed champion, you reach silver. When you learn how to keep up if you do lose lane, you reach gold. When you've mastered the art of objective taking and rotation times, you reach platinum. When you've learned every champion's strengths and weaknesses and counter picks and team composition strength, you've reached diamond. It's simple really.

This is the top sona build, it says boots of mobility. Clearly you don't know how to play sona if you do not follow this build. I am a professoinal gamer and take this game very seriously.

Not impossible but very difficult, i've won 6 straight before and still haven't been up for promotion from it. And not to insult anyone but i've seen diamon etc...players play, and they didn't seem amazing or anything, my guess is they did well in their first 10 games and hit the jackpot by getting high ranked as a results.

Someone's rank isn't based on luck. If you belong in a higher division, you'll get there if you play the game. I have hit Platinum 4 times over 2 accounts. If you're stuck in a certain elo, you belong there. You need to improve to get out.

I'm on 6 game win streak bro...still bronze 5. When's the last time you won 6 in a row?

I win most of my games in Platinum. Not sure when the last time I won 6 in a row was and I'm too lazy to check. I assume that you got into Bronze V because you had a poor start in the season and now you're just starting to improve. If you keep winning, your MMR will improve and you'll keep climbing.

The ranking system needs a lot of improvements...I lost 3 ranks in a single day, yet I win 6 in a row(and no this ins't the first time) and i'm still in bronze V.

I decided to look up your ranked win rate and the reason you're losing so much LP is because your win/loss is abysmal and is only now starting to improve. If you lose more than you win, it's harder to gain LP because of MMR. MMR can improve over time, and if you keep winning it will just keep getting better. I guess the ranked system isn't really forgiving for cases like yours but losing all of those games in the first place is why this problem arose.

"now only starting", whatever bud, I just lost cause a troll wanted to hangout in my lane instead of helping bottom like he's suppose to be. I had to basically beg him to stop being annoying and we still lost cause he wouldn't stop off and on. And no I haven't just started winning...I win more than I lose, not overall but last few weeks, i'd say. Why? cause i've realized I have to carry everything, or I won't win.

I'm actually trying my best this season, last season I admit. I did terrible and facerolled. But I'm actually trying this season. The thing is this game is a team based game, the way you win, is by team plays. So if I get a team with people who don't really know what they're doing, then theres nothing I can do. I can try to help with pings and such (which I do) and most of the time they ignore my Red warning pings, and get killed.

Once your MMR is like this low, it keeps dropping and dropping because the players you're put with. So it's actually rather scary to me, this league system.. Once a year, you get a chance to get lucky 10 games, or you are just stuck for an entire year. That is rather scary..

I also would consider myself, a great player. I watched TSM Baj. and his plays, of how he kills people. I am rather tactile when playing, and do a lot of the same plays as Nightblue and so on. I do the same dodges, jumps through walls, and all that. So it's not that im a terrible player, I've been playing since 2011, I know a lot about this, it's the matchmaking .

Lol the "I did good every game but my team so bad every game" kind of logic is why you are still bronze sir.

It's a team game, if you win your lane but cannot convert that to a team's advantage, then you are not good enough to get out of bronze

typical bronze mid response: Ill have you know I'm a mid lane main, and whenever i play my lane is always ganked by the enemy jungler and my jungler does nothing about it. Im always closest to the enemy turret of all the lanes, yet i still lose because my jungler doesn't know how to gank. Our bot lane sucked because they didnt help me in mid lane, and top lane sucked too because they didnt have a positive score. They were like 5/4. I mean seriously, what the fuck. Im always like 15/34. Look how many more kills i get than the rest of the team. Such fuckin noobs, reported for unskilled.

Practice. I have been floundering in bronze v for a couple weeks, but recently got to Bronze IV by practicing and then playing a couple different champions that i love ( Yasuo Shyvana Leona ) I just try to do my best, keep my head on, and focus. Remember that your main isn't necessarily a smart pick ( Fiora vs Jax ) Play smart, remember counters, and just go for it. Dont go in too hard a lot, and dont get cocky. Never blame your teammates. As much as it pains you, try to be the nice guy. It can help. Dont know how but it does. Anyways maybe go back and look at some of the pros playing your fav champs, just to get a general idea. And refine your masteries. Other than that, idk. Maybe get a good friend to play duo with you? Also maybe building something other than item 3117 would help...

Okay so I get CDR boots, I play support because it's fun, and I like to stick with people... Other roles kinda bore me, I like warding and ganking with people.

umm... item 3117 dont give you cdr. item 3158 gives you cdr item 3006 gives you attack speed gives you a ton of movement speed when not in combat item 3009 gives you extra movement speed item 3111 gives you magic resist and tenacity (reduces cc effects) item 3047 gives you armor and blocks 10% damage from basic attacks item 3020 gives you magic penetration.

I'm in bronze V because riot HAD to screw ranked in the butt by making the system more "challenging" i've been in my promos 5 times didnt get promoted once. I went 5 wins in my provisional out of 10(did well in all of them besides one with zac) and got placed bronze 5. I literally fucking can't get out of this garbage and I know it's frustrating but we're both fucked.

In Bronze for life. I do the carry but the team threw off the play of the match and lose. When promoted i went back to bronze IV tell me why that keep happening V.V
