X-Post From Old Boards: On Untargettable Objects
Currently there is an issue with right clicking to auto attack minions hidden behind untargetable objects, such as Orianna's Ball. When attempting to right click a minion that is hidden by the untargetable object, it is interpreted as a move command, unless you use the attack-move command instead. Jarven IV's Banner is another example of this. This is problematic as it inhibits a player from being able to kill minions, making it more difficult than it needs to be to lane against such opponents. Maybe this is an intended feature allowing these champions' players to better use their micromanagement skills, however I feel this is more an unintended side effect of these objects being untargetable. My proposed fix would be that the right clicking of these objects act as a contextual right click to whatever is directly underneath them, rather than as a move command (or as a move command if it is a force move click or attack move command if it is an attack move right click, and so on).
Another similar issue that may deserve some attention is the hit box on Yorick ghouls. I find that is incessantly hard to intentionally right click a ghoul, and that their click box may need to be looked at. I say this as a Teemo top main who finds that it is much easier to play that lane when your intentional targeting of a ghoul actually targets the ghoul. I have been having to rely on moving to a spot roughly 1 unit from where I stand in hope of autotargeting ghouls, due to the difficulty of intentionally targetting them.
