Excuse me, when you locked in Zed mid, did I say anything to you? Did I tell you we needed an AP champ? If you want a tank, pick it yourself. I'm not backseat gaming on how you play your lane. Don't backseat game on how I should play the game.

Last time someone said, "We need a tank" I had the adc lock in Maokai. He hella trolled that game, and you know what, when the person who asked for a tank said, "Why would you pick maokai adc?" I stepped up and said, "Because you said we needed a tank. Now it's a problem? Lmfao".

That shit is honestly so tilting.

Well, Top, Jungle or Support are the main roles that can pick tanks effectively. Apart from exceptions such as Galio in mid.

Though they're not needed all the time. It helps to bring a tank or two when u have more than 1 range-type adc who needs to stick to enemies to deal dmg. The problem comes when u have a ad mid that isn't spell-heavy or in addition to that a ranged top. That leaves u with the Jungler for the tank role. Depending on the meta- u can put your team behind with a tank jungler.

When it comes down to it all. Most of the time, these people are merely trying to prevent u from screwing yourself up in champ select. It's usually just a kindly reminder that u can choose to ignore.

League is full of self-entitled people destined to remain at gold and below because of their refusal or inability to learn and compromise. Myself included.

Doing things "my" way no matter how self destructive is the mindset of those who are destined to lose more often than not.

But as long as you're having fun and you put in the effort to win then that is your choice. But expressing open hostility towards allies who requested you do something that might enable the team is not a good way to go about reacting to them.

It's not very difficult to win with an all AD team - sporting an assassin mid - provided said assassin isn't awful.

Good fucking luck winning without a tank. You're effectively forfeiting all team fights past the 20 minute mark, neutering your ability to baron, and essentially robbing your team of the ability to start fights / force engages / make picks.

This post is a little ragey, but I agree tho. If a laner wants to lock in a pick and demand a tank then say "gg" when you don't pick one it's aggravating but I literally could not give less of a shit about it. I'm here to play a game in competitive so I'm against someone who is theoretically my same skill level. It's for enjoyment. I'm not making it to the fuckin' big leagues, gettin signed on a team, streaming every single day for that phat stack, I just wanna play Kennen Toplane.

Snide shit like this makes League toxic. If you can't see the competitive value of having certain mechanics on your team at least be silent or polite, attacking someone like this is just childlike and unnecessary.

Most fighter champs have good lane phases, item options, and remain relevant through out the game so there's no excuse not to find one you enjoy playing and picking it when your team needs a tank. Forgive those of us who cringe at seeing Quinn Teemo etc. top and get over yourself.

Interesting, I guess that makes sense because you don't want to be told what to do, right? You're your own man.

At the same time though, the guy just wants a balanced team comp and already locked in his pick. The USA is like that though. Instead of it being about "us," it's about "me." Idk how I feel on the subject.

I don't want to be told what I should and should not do too much, but at the same time, I understand what the guy wants and can't blame him for wanting a good team comp. Eh, you'll grow out of it probably. You two probably just don't understand each other.
