Every game mode with specific rules and format of play will have different champions thrive or fail in...

You're telling Riot to balance out a game mode that only lasts the weekend that is meant only for a fun change in the normal play of League, and not use those resources into more important things (like taking a look on how to fix up Dynamic Queue *hint hint).

Reminds me of the time players had a problem with the fact you could dual queue up in solo, except players were queuing up with high ELO players and paying another high ELO player to play their account.

So glad they finally realized that solo queue wasn't so solo back then. If they could truely make solo queue work ... well that wouldn't advertise their team up with friends play style. Queue times for team up games would be ridiculous.

And Hey! Anything to pull more customers in for a buck. Even if it ruins the competitiveness of the game. But I don't really care about Summoners Rift.

See what I did there, Summoners Rift is now so boring as I wait for a new game... I just play the special featured modes.

Meh, Battleborn and Overwatch are soon to come out. Hopefully you were not silly and payed 50+ dollars on league.

Or for balancing TT/ARAM, which are actually permanent modes. TT even has ranked, yet neither mode gets much support from Riot.

I completely forgot about TT tbh with you. I feel like the only purpose of ranked TT was so you can play competitively with 2 other friends , have fun (as it was a shorter game mode), and provide points for ranked team rewards from previous seasons.

You know what is funny in Snowdown (basically ARAM), your team could ban champs. And Kat was also a number one ban.

You would think that maybe with all these mage nerfs (*cough *cough I mean updates) they would look at this manaless champ that is doing the same thing as Yi; before he was nerfed.

You know wiping out lower ELOs with ridiculous Ratios on abilities and an AOE ult that refreshes constantly.

LoL... nah... but artillery mages... Meddler... bruisers ... "Kited for days" LOL

That is because in normal SR is is easy to shut Kat down and prevent her from being a huge threat.

She excels in team fights, especially in tight quarters where it is harder for enemies to escape, as she is manaless and can get resets (and in 5v5 teamfights it is harder to get everyone to focus her), which means she is great in modes that involve many skirmishes in small spaces (Ascension, ARAM, Snowdown, etc).

Yi was nerfed for doing that while also building tanky. Riot doesn't care if Yi can do that but dies if someone sneezes in his direction.

The game mode was a waste of development time and money. All it accomplished was doubling our queue times over the weekend and piss off Nunu/Syndra mains.

The fact that que times went up suggest a lot of people enjoy playing it, its a refreshing change. If people had fun - the development wasnt a waste of time. You're probably one of those people who cry because he doesnt get free keys left and right like if someone owes him something.

I was seeing a lot of Gangplank Illaoi and Leblanc personally, though that may be due to Leblanc and Illaoi being on free week. I will agree that there were some very common bans, but that happens in any meta.
