The NA mentality is to never give up. That's why we waste time in games that are hopeless since we are always following the false hope, especially in low elo.

Here People almost instantly screech "surrender plox" as soon as they fall like 5 Minions behind, its actually ridicouless how easy many here throw the towel

It's understandable in some scenarios. If they get 5 free kills 4 minutes in, chances are your team will still give the enemy kills. Chances are they will still be ahead unless they make mistakes. If you are only able to clear waves, not push any objectives, or win team fights, that game is basically over and not FFing is just a waste of time. 5 minions though, that's nothing. I could have a laner being 20-30 cs down and I'll still be in at as long as, and only if, they haven't been feeding the laner or allowing them to roam. Rather have someone who is just over in cs than someone with the same cs as my laners but 4~10 kills up.

This is going to fall on deaf ears. Apparently there are players who refuse to surrender no matter what. Even if they draft a full ad, early game comp against a teamfight comp and still go 4-16 early game. I'm not the type to /ff as soon as I'm losing but if i have no win condition other than waiting for the enemy team to throw 3 teamfights in a row, and one of them so obvious that even silver players would take baron from it, im not doing anything in that game.

i dont typically give up super easly eather but i know when a game is lost

Nah man its 3/16/2 b/c he had to get a couple kills to reset his gold so he could give the enemy team more for his deaths

I had a house fire, I had no power for 2 weeks, it was winter so it's cold, dark, I haven't had a break in 300 hours.

My dad's medical supplies need recharging so we're running a generator, I'll play some league! Horray! Ask duo to join, duo asks to bring the whole gang.

Matchmaking hates 5 mans, it just slaps you vs full plat-diamond teams, then you lose, lose, lose... so we're into our 4th game of being completely obliterated. I start crying, ask for FF so I can just go to bed (I am CLEARLY REALLY fricken depressed). Nope. 3 to 5. I mute myself. Then 4 to 5.

'oh you're having a real life mental breakdown and need to go take your meds and sleep? welll too bad cuz wE dOn'T SUrRenDEr.'

HATE.

THAT MENTALITY.

It's rampant. Not always to such an extreme, but the AMOUNT OF TIME people will WASTE... I don't HAVE unlimited gaming time what the heck?? If this was a WAR and we were fighting for good HELL YEAH NEVER SURRENDER! I'd understand but it's a freakin' videogame!!!

You sound like you want to win. Like your objective in playing is to achieve victory. On the off chance you don't know, I'll tell you how to do that more often.

Play less.

Take some of your limited gaming time and devote it to practice and analysis. 10 minutes of no runes (or at least no damage runes) no spells farming practice. Or, practice tool for 10 minutes to get your combos warmed up. 5 minutes after each and every game to analyze and find something, anything, that you can learn from.

I work 50-55 hours a week myself, so I get where you're coming from about limited time. I'm on the other side of the surrender argument, because between the que, champ select, dodges, load screen and 15 minutes of game I'm already invested 30+ minutes. Another 10 or 15? It's less than analysis + getting into another game. I get more frustrated with the people who pick Pantheon into Darius, die twice in 5 minutes and whine in chat about getting no ganks or help. Then want to ff, because they aren't getting their bully fantasy.

Did you just tell me to git gud because I think people are addicted to a 'never surrender' mentality? Are you even responding to the correct post?

Btw you're talking to a sup main, I'm pretty far from the KDA obsessed surrender-monkeys you're unhappy with. I already explained why I'd hit FF- if you're enjoying a game experience and find that a better use of your time I'm not against you voting no, that is far from the mentality I was talking about.

The sad thing is, a lot of times the game would still be theoretically winnable, but you just know that your teammates will keep doing the same mistakes they have been doing the whole game, and that is why you will certainly loose. A lost o the whole "snowball" meta that has been going around these past few years is because of that, because people who are tired, on tilt, etc aren't going to suddenly start to play better mid-match.

Uhm no , he is darius , he might be pain for melee champions to deal with , but we still do good against him , Usually I never vote yes in all situations , only when I hear Baron voice xD
