riot releases RGMQ in season 6, its GREAT we get good variety and a new one every week. and we get to play urf all for one and ascension alot and its fun! later that year, "were reworking RGMQ" (they basically removed urf and allforone.) well ok that wont be too bad :P. later that year. "so if we make RGMQ 2 weeks at a time and put the same 4 repetitive games on an endless loop and remove urf and 1fa almost entirely, the fan base will like it!" "lets also remove custom games too!" ?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!!??!??!??!?

they did it well when they had like 5 game modes, but down the line they made new ones and shoved them down our throats because they spent alot of time on them, which is understandable, but if you just go 2 weeks of this 2 weeks of something else then back to the 1st thing it becomes so repetitive, hell they tried to bring back dominion and it was on for a whole month, no one liked it and its completely gone now. but the worst part is, they dont listen, ive tried to ask them TO HELP THEM no less, because 9/10 instead of just fixing its flaws and just correcting their mistakes they will remake it and waste so much time, we dont need more game modes we just need the ones we love, i dont care if they are new in all honesty if i dont like it i dont want to play it.

Yeah, custom games have been removed. That's why, if you hit play, you can look along the top, under the main tab, in the same area as where you can make it a bot or practice game, and you look all the way at the 2 furthest to the right to see "Create custom" and "Join custom."

That's clearly not an answer to OP.

I'm pretty sure that you could never make custom games with the rotating game mode queue, but admittedly I've never tried.

Riot - "What? You don't like the new RGMQ??? That's it give them another 12340918234 weeks of Poro King until they change their minds god damnit. We'll train these monkeys if it's the last thing we do!"

At the very least we have an RGMQ. (I would probably have stopped playing if I had nothing but SR to play)

Riot's claim is that they had to implement each game mode separately into the new client. So naturally, when Poro king and Ascension were the first to be implemented, it was all they could give us. (And I still think that's better than turning RGMQ off.)

well they have implemented all the game modes now, so this problem would seem irrelevant
