Need solution for high elo queues

I already don't particularly like the new queue but the new format is dealable. However, the new queue really screws the small proportion of players in high diamond/masters/challengers. I'm only at around diamond 1 level right now, and queue times are average one hour. I can only imagine challenger players waiting several hours just to play a game. We need a solution for this because at this rate, no one will ever even play in high elo.
