PSA: Stating lanes are behind is now reportable/bannable

Just thought players should beware.

Edit: In a recent game, I repeatedly tried to explain to the jungler how we couldn't team fight/contest drake because both mid and ADC were extremely behind. He insisted on going in and losing a team fight. In one game, I got chat restricted (which would result in a ban if it was past my second chat restriction) despite not using any foul language or attacking anyone.

Beware players. Just mute everyone at the beginning of the game and whatever you do, DO NOT TYPE ANYTHING in chat.

there is a fine line between saying "x lane is behind" and "x lane is completely useless rn"

chatlogs or it didn't happen

Hey,

You can discuss the rules (although please do not make false claims regarding the rules), but anything related to the way players behave in League of Legends belongs in Player Behavior, not in Gameplay. It looks like you already have a thread discussing your chat restriction and that this assumption comes from that thread. If you want to discuss this topic as a new discussion (is it against the rules to state lanes are behind?) then you may make a new thread like this one in Player Behavior. Since this thread doesn't belong here, I will be locking it.

Just my own personal quick input -- saying that the lanes are behind is not against the rules. Being a jerk or blaming the lanes for being behind would be because you are not helping your team at that point, instead you're just insulting them. For example:

"Hey guys, lanes are behind so let's play safe and try to farm up until we can win a team fight" <---- okay

"The only reason we're losing is stupid bot let themselves fall behind because they are too dumb to realize not to push lane when the enemy jungler is MIA" <----- not okay

Hope that helps a bit.

If you have any questions about this lock, feel free to stop by the Discord or make a thread on Discuss the Boards.

Thanks
