Vexful1 votesYorick hasn't been crushing everyone. Ryze, even at his like 40 something winrate, was being played in LCS and doing very well. With the new items, he is going to go crazy. His top % users are why he needs so many reworks. Yorick is just..............well yorick.

EmittingXs1 votesFor Ryze, it's not going to be a huge overhaul of his model or kit. It's just minor tweaks with a few modifications. For Yorick we're talking new model, new abilities, new animations, new voice over, new everything. Basically, a lot of things that will take time. Ryze's rework isn't on that level so that's why it'll come out sooner. Riot's working on everything as best they can but even they need to slow down and work on the easier things before moving onto bigger projects.
I bet if there were no mentions of Ryze getting reworked then people would make threads about it.

Nanuk Pihoqahiak2 votesBecause Aatrox wasn't permanently snaring you in place and slapping you with spell after spell after spell. He's also melee which makes him duelable in top. Ryze? He throws one E at a melee that gets caught in a minion wave and they lose 1/3 to half of their health. There's a vast difference in which is more 'cancer'.

Meanwhile, i enjoy my 63% winrate on Aatrox in 125+ games where i either a). Get FB > and make enemy toplaner go AFK in min 10. b). Get countered to shit by Aatrox's 100 counters from 120+ champion pool and make me wanna AFK in min 10.
