Ranked Bans

So, just a thought. But wouldn't it be interesting if in the ban phase you had the ability to ban items and maybe one summoner? Obviously you wouldn't be able to ban 3 summoners but say you could ban 3 champions, an item and a summoner. Wouldn't this freshen up the game a bit? It could prevent the incessant top lane tp meta. Again its just an idea, not serious. No flamerino dongerdingos pls. :^)
