Why is there an option to not ban anyone in Draft mode?

Whenever I play ranked I notice that there's an option to ban nobody. Why is it there? I feel as though it is useless because there is always someone you can ban whether it be for your teammates or yourself yet some people choose to ban nobody?

interesting... any ideas why?

Some people like the challenge. Some people are also doing this to prepare for ranked sessions by making sure they can play against even the champions they play horribly against.
