Ardent Censer idea

item 3504 passively gathers up to 3 stacks from which one will be consumed when casting a shield or a heal increasing its effectiveness by 25 (+5% targets missing health) and giving a 75% attack speed boost for 3 attacks. Attack speed not applied to self. Aoe shields/heals apply the buff prioritizing low health allied champions. A single stack generates in 30 seconds.

This would replace the current passive obviously.

#Why? I think Ardent cencer is quite bland. Giving it an interesting passive would make it a bit more interesting item.

This is definitely a good idea. Right now ardent censor is just outclassed by zeke's harbinger. 50% crit is just so much more impactful than 15% attack speed and 30 magic damage especially since adcs usually don't have magic pen (everyone except corki) but usually do have infinity edge by the time you build zekes. The 75% attack speed boost and the heal will be more impactful without being op on sona with her aoe shield on a low cd.

One problem is that you would use up the stacks in non-combat situations so I suggest making it an active. I mean you active the ardent censor then your next heal/shield consumes the stacks. This way you are not forced to lose your stacks if you want to use heal or shield without waiting a minute to have a teamfight.

Strategic use of healing/shielding abilities is key to managing the stacks :P The target does get extra healing, so it's not like the stacks go to waste even if not cast in combat.

An active version of the passive would probably be something like: Activating item 3504 before casting a shield or a heal increases its effectiveness by 50 (+10% targets missing health) and giving a 75% attack speed boost for 3 seconds. Attack speed not applied to self. Aoe shields/heals apply half effect to targets. Cooldown 60 seconds.

25% per stack is a bit much im thinking maybe 5% 1 stack then double the percentage per stack. 20 base+5 1stack+10 2stack+15 3 stacks= 50% total

Not 25%, just flat 25.

Healing/shielding a target that is missing 1000 health would heal/shield for an extra 75 (25+50).
