IMO gangplank was ruined

I'm not saying he's crappy now as a whole, he's better from what i can tell. I just don't like the whole barrel "minigame"

i LIKED how straightforward gp used to be, I liked his little dmg steroid to make his gun even sexier. he had a niche playstyle. basically harass a bit (strongpoint) then commit to enemy when they at like 50- 60% or so. he's like this wierdo donkeykong "in and out" "minigame" champ now.

imo over-complicated him. AGAIN took away from his gimmick (his gun) and tried to rework these new stupid dynamics with him.

also fiora coming out with her new "minigame" ult..

so i sense a trend coming along. inb4 every champ has some BS "minigame" brb press the left and right key as fast as possible to charge your ult x2 multiplier GO! wicked sick!

brb X out of the popups that come onto your screen, each popup left open will deal 100 magic damage ZOMG MINIGAMEZ LEWL SUP WE RIOT RUINING SOBERS FAVORITE CHAMP YOUR WELCOME

tbh I like new GP more, but I miss GP Support. Permaslow Passive and Raise Morale were awesome. I actually ended up with nearly Rank 4 Mastery with GP playing him casually as a Support.

Riot once again gutting champions they reworked a la Veigar. I'm scared Poppy will be next on the chopping block after they finish gutting Fiora.

had a good run of upvotes for a bit. the people have spoken, his playstyle was stomped on. plz revert back to pewpew style instead of this donkeykong shiiii

GP still dont have reliable CC , and still u have to choose between farming and poking with ur Q which is a BS , like the weak spot system on the new fiora.

I'm actually so happy to hear that there are changes being made that make really strong characters more difficult to use because it prevents a lot of "gg 2ez" players from using overpowered champions. I think that his rework looks awesome and i dont even play him. I main top lane, and i think that the old gangplank was just god awful to go against because of his overpowered poke abilities and his end-game was just atrocious. With his new abilities it makes me have more respect for GP players and his new barrel system is a really cool and creative. I think that the "less straight-forward" approach is so much cooler and it adds more of an individualistic feel to the character. You cant ask for more!

I found this post on Google, I agree he was ruined, since I just played him in Aram his (E) is absolutely garbage now not even worth playing when there are better choices.

1.) Would be to fix it so enemy can't destroy his kegs, if kegs.

2.) would be to totally change this ability to make it useful, even if his Ultimate detonated all his kegs would make it useful.

3.) Fix it so hitting with Q will instantly explode them all and limit barrels to 2-3 at once or something not make a time delay.

He's become quite hard to master with his barrels.

Just train him a bit and tell us after.

What I can say is a bad GP has 1 less spell than other champions (E). A good GP has a awesome spell (still E).
