I assume op is referring to jinx, which she's getting nerfed in the same patch her legendary skin is getting released. please crumple up your tin foil hats and throw them away.

Except said nerf is worthless and isn't anything actually meaningful and is just Riot's excuse that they don't just buff champions for skin releases like they've done for years.

Release skin -> Playrate skyrockets -> "This BS Champ is OP, Rito plz" -> Nerf

Nerfs a while after a skin's popularity dies down are usually hard. On the other hand, Jinx's pre-skin release nerf is a "nerf". One that does or impacts nothing meaningful.

Only if that champion has a 54% WR and 20% PR (i.e. Jinx ) or is somehow broken.
