I dont think that means that the Doom debuff should be removed completely. If they want to remove dfg then they should make a new item with the doom active but one that works with tanky stats or support stats.

I always felt like DFG should be a support or tank item one where the they are setting up a kill for someone else. I could see something like thresh landing a hook and then activating the doom debuff on their catch as the mid comes in roaming for a kill. Would give incentive to teamwork and catching people out of position. Would still eliminate the toxic play that was outlined by jag since it wouldnt be worth getting on an ap burster because it would give too small an amount of AP if any. It has counterplay because unlike currently the assasin has to realize that you were doom'ed and that its time to go in and that gives you a window to back off

Now if you agree this is a good idea things I would suggest changing about it would be to reduce/get rid of the % max health nuke but increase the duration of the debuff or make it AOE Im picturing like the frost queens active.
