Doesn't help with last hitting under the tower and most of Ekko's burst comes from Timewinder and passive procs.
The W is unnecessary extra power - AP DPS just doesn't work beyond Azir and Kayle (both who have range and more safety)
How does that add counterplay? It just makes the champion weaker.
