Can someone help me with how I'm playing Talon wrong?

I do ok in the laning phase but then I can't sustain that lead into the mid and late game. If I roam, then the enemy mid and jungle take two towers, which I can't do much about because my jungler is either helping another lane or afk farming. If I don't, regardless of whether enemy mid roams or not, my teammates lose their lanes at a rate I can't fathom. What do I do?
