Was ziggs ultimate indicator changed for enemies?

I remember that ziggs ultimate has for the longest time shown the AoE indicator to enemies significantly later than when it appears on the user's screen. However recently it seems as though enemies are reacting to my ultimate casts starting almost the moment I cast the spell. I am aware that ziggs got a visual effects update recently and have wondered if they changed this aspect of his ultimate either intentionally or unintentionally. If it has indeed been changed, then that is alright, but in such a case, riot should be ashamed for not documenting this as a nerf, because it would be quite a large one if this is true. Could somebody confirm or test this please?
