Silver is the worst elo to be hardstuck in, bronze is the most toxic elo, gold 5 is hard to get out of when you first get there but mid gold is the most friendly of them all from personal experience From worst to best : silver>bronze>gold
no elo compares to the absolute hell on earth that is plat 1
Silver 1 Flex.... because my opponents constantly get a Diamond soloqueue.
Never played in bronze but from the 3 divisions I have played in, Silver/Gold/Plat, I can say that Gold is by far the worst experience I have ever had in league.
In silver I could actually get people to listen to me when I was shot calling, or giving advice. Most of the players seemed like they legit wanted to improve and just didn't have the game knowledge required to do so. This made it a lot of fun to effectively coach my way out of silver as long as I was willing to take a little bit of time to explain what needed to happen, easy to do on run backs from shop.
Plat has in general been pretty good. I've gotten the occasional idiot or rager but for the most part people know what they are doing which frees me up to focus more on my mechanics that telling everyone what they should be doing.
Gold on the other hand is my elo hell. Apparently idiots in gold think they have actually accomplished something of note and feel like they are God's gift to League. They listen to nothing, they 1v5 while being 0/10 and if you simply say "please stop going solo and work with the team" you can expect to be flamed if they don't out right rage quit. I've been in so many gold games where I practically begged my team to take dragon/turrets after bot lane recalls and enemy jungler shows themselves top mean while our jungler just got done taking dragon scuttle. It's like no one gives a damn about getting better and feels like simply being gold means they no longer have to try and can consider themselves good.
I prefer incompetent people who listen and improve to competent jackasses who are apathetic to the prospect of getting better.
This is so true!
Gold is the worst elo i have played in. People don't know how to pick in champ select. U can have a 0-10 Lee sin mid with ignite just bc, he spams lee sin in jgl, and now think he is a god. When u try to tell people in champ select that teemo top might not be the best idea since the team don't have a single frontline, u get the usually stfu.
Must say i enjoyed plat and silver more than gold.
All of them lol. Theyre all literally the same in terms of mechanics.
The only thing different is that bronze players just troll. They build dumb stuff because they know theyre bronze and refuse to improve. Bronzies have bad computers/internet all the time as well, and int when they get autofilled.
Silver/Gold players are just meh. They dont know mechanics just like bronze players, but I rarely see that many people troll in gold/silver when I smurf.
And everyone who is "high" elo have no sense of reality.
The tiers are vastly different between in each other in terms of mechanics. From someone who has played in bronze, silver, and low gold. Sure they have no mechanics compared to higher ELO players. But that is why they are not in higher ELO (among other things).
Bruh I have 15 accounts. Every one of those accounts have gone through Unranked (Bronze/Silver), to Silver, through gold, through plat, and some went in mid diamond.
I know what im dealing with when I play in each elo.
Bronze players dont build correctly. Bronze players play garen jungle because theyre bored. Bronze players dont know how to use their advantage in lane.
Silver/Gold players dont farm good, dont roam, and dont go for objectives.
Plats are just tilteasy
You said "they are all the same in terms of mechanics."
I can solidly say they are not. YES you are better than them, but that is why you are a high ELO player. And YES I am better than bronze that is why even with my poor mechanics, I can win that lane the majority of the time. But yes Golds and Plats are better than me and will win that lane more often. There is a separation in skill. You might just be too high that they all suck too much compared to your majesty.
statistcally speaking bronze.
ive been in all 3
Bronze lacking anything relating to game knowledge and only basic mechanics
silver mostly being about who has the best game knowledge with skill varying much less so then bronze
Gold bring again a knowledge battle more then anything
( note that im not saying they are comparatively good to high elo, but making a a comparison to just those 3 )

Statistically speaking, silver is average and gold represents the top 30 percent of the player base.
my point exactly, gold are not bad. just better then average. gold being the neighborhood best super smash bros player. whilst something like daimond being westballs

Gold= top 30 percent= best players in local tourneys. Plat- regionals, diamond= worlds
Weeeeell, I don't know about worlds (or are we still talking SSB).
you forgot about master and challenger leauges
thats why i said best on the block. there are way more gold platers then plat and daimond combined iirc

Master and challenger are such a small percentage, they represent those who study the arts in remote areas hidden to the general public.
From worst to best:
Bronze 5 - Bronze 3
Silver 5 - Silver 3
Bronze 2 - Bronze 1
Silver 2 - Silver 1
Gold
