If you are reported in a game the system reviews your chat logs to see if you said anything punishable. If you didn't then it wont punish you, and there is no rating based on how many times you have been reported in a given game. In a single game 1 report = 9 reports.
In a situation where there are other individuals being toxic towards you the best solution is to mute them, report them at the end of the game, and go to the next game/take a break for a bit. Nothing can happen to you if you don't talk back or engage in gameplay trolling.
If you truly didn't do anything and their reports are without merit, you won't be punished. The number doesn't matter.
I wish games allowed you to opt out being the 3rd wheel for premade people you always get the raw end like that same with overwatch.
The best thing you can do is not reply and mute them. It won't shut them up but you won't get their chat.
You have nothing to worry about if you didn't retaliate. but
why didn't you just mute them when they started picking on you?

I've gotten so many people telling me they're reporting me for whatever reason. I've had people say they'll be owning my account by the end of the day.
All kinds of funny threats and I still own my account and I haven't been banned. People just want to scare you, but just mute them and you'll be okay.
Don't wait to mute them either, you gain nothing by sitting there letting them tilt you.
Just be sarcastic. No one ever consistently flames me and I rarely ever mute anyone. When they start flaming, I just agree with them. They actually stop.
