Should I even bother buying kassadin now?

With the recent nerfs going out before I got a chance to play him pre 5.4 should I do it?

Yeah its pretty bad. They nerfed him to where he was balanced around a strong ultimate, then took that away with virtually zero compensation.

Not right now. They will buff him again. Maybe not for a year, but eventually...

If there gonna keep the rift crawl as it is that could be fine. What they should do is give him back his silence and make his E 4 charges instead of 6. This way he still has to flank but trying to get his opponent will be a lot easier. Now he will not be Able to go in for clean ups and get out but do an Assassians job on taking out the weak.

I don't think they should return his silence as much as buff his damage. Maybe in the form of reduced Q & W cooldowns so he can use Lich Bane

Right now kassadins only cc is his E, the downside is that he gets it only occasionally. Cooldowns won't really do much but getting his E easier will definitely compensat.
