i wanted to play him mid lane and wanted to know what runes i should run but i cant even click on him. it says there is not enough of a sample size. this is the first time ive seen this on op.gg. is it a bug or is corki just that bad that nobody plays him?
Bliss Ocean3 votesIts just that no one really plays him. So Basically what he runs is Fleet,triumph,alacrity,Coup/Cutdown depend if tanky team. Secondary sorcery(Manaflow band,Gathering storm) Build is Trinity,Sorc shoes,Rapid Fire cannon everything else situational. Have fun

he has plenty of damage if he is built for it, but he's low range
you could build corki bruiser or tank and go even with your lane opponent or better, but there would be no point unless your intent is to snowball the other lanes because he's essentially dead if built for damage or a low damage threat if built for other
if you compare him to quinn or teemo, both provide vision, teemo provides map pressure with his ult and both function on high damage builds
if you catch a corki, he either has to jump away immediately or he dies

They both get 1 get away move in a situation. You dont see Quinn getting shitted on do ya? Corki is just not being played for people to see his true potential. Only problem I would ever have top is probably against an Akali or Irelia who can jump mulitple times or even a counter range like Gnar whos ranged and tanky at the same time... Everyone one else gets kited and zoned properly and its GG. Anyone that has only 1 jump every 10-15 secs will as see me escape with my 1 time get away ability (unless they have flash up). Its all about zoning... timing.. and kiting.

corki top wouldnt be viable just as corki mid or any where is isnt viable the buffs they are giving him on R wont change that

xxxxMERLiNxxxx1 voteslol ok buddy.. like I said before, OP.gg does have stats on him, its opened right here on my second tab.. and he's just not played because his WHOLE kit is made up of skill shots. His R is literally a straight thin hair line that has to be precisely aimed to hit a target. Something most players now a days dont like.... Players now a days like champs who they can press R once and send a BIG wave that takes up a whooole zone and is almost unavoidable, so that they dont have to worry about using their brain too much.

with defensive items, he has quite a bit of sustained damage and some decent burst damage
he tends to only go mid though because he has no crowd control or utility
the real problem though, riot changed him to deal almost all magic damage

Play Corki a few times and make up your own mind on what he needs... I run him with Dark Harvest or Electrocute.. But it all depends on how you build him. Letho and Press can work on him too if you're doing a attack speed build.
This is my build for him.. with Dark Harvest.. its all about his R and autos for me.. everything else is a bonus;
I switch boots for 
if the game is going on for an hour.
full build your R's hit for 400.. The big one hits for almost 700... and thats just items dmg, before adding in the Dark Harverst. And your autos will be as fast as a end game Caitlyn's... And we're not even counting in the dmg ure doing with Qs, Ws and Es... AND special delivery... So yea.. that lil pilot is OPPPP.
