Fix your matchmaking!

You have to prove that you deserve gold by carrying washed-up boosted golds over platinums on the enemy team. Or something like that.

because the matchmaking was designed to retain the playerbase it act as a korean grinder.

Ranked games. Stop playing normals.

Bad jokes aside, its to do with your MMR. You recently got your first few games in. Being matched against Gold's and Platinum players is actually good. It means that if you win, your MMR is at a higher rating. Which in turn translates to an easier and shorter climb to a higher ladder ranking.

Tbh it's crazy in the preseason. I was helping out one of my friends in plat 3 and we had a SILVER player in our ranked game and guess what was the reason?

Because he was lucky - simply lucky in his UNRANKED games which he was playing at the moment so there is - I guess no rule to that - means he was matched with us. Luckily we carried his ass - and that is no joke - we really were lucky to snowball it before he inted too much.

And the best part is - this happened to us more than 8 times since the beginning of preseason. Maybe we are just extremely unlucky but still, it's weird to me atm that you can be matched with unranked players who are playing their 10 games.
