Gragas' Drunken Rage + Body Slam + Auto = Thunderlord proc?

Just played a game against a Gragas who did the above combo and still managed to proc Thunderlord's off it. How does that even work? Isn't that really only two instances of damage (body slam and empowered auto)? Can someone PLEASE explain this?

Body slam is one instance, the auto another and the the empowered damage counts seperetly.
