Norms MMR messed up after playing with low elo friends?

So I'm High gold/Low plat MMR and when i play norms i usually get matched with players around that rank, but the other day i played with some friends that are incredibly low elo (One of my friends is fairly new at the game, Iron 1, others are around low Silver/Bronze), we had our games, everything's cool.

Now I go back to playing by myself and I've noticed that the quality of games I've been getting dropped horrendously, I get low level players that you can tell they are either new or just like really inexperienced in general, building really random stuff on random champions, (e.g. AP Vi don't ask me why, Full Armor garen even though he was laning against a full AP teemo, Nid JG, an AP mid that i forgot who it was, etc. point being no real physical damage).

My point is: Did my Norms MMR drop hard in an attempt to "adapt" itself to my friends at that moment? or what happened?

MMR doesn't matter anyway. Most of the player base are not good at the game. You will always get 1 or 2 dullards in your matches, just hope they show up on your enemies team.

Normal matchmaking was always terrible.

MMR doesn't change that much over a few games. Unless you have a massive win/loss streak or you're playing on a new account.

short answer: yes. if you care about your MMR, dont play with noobs.
