Game's are not decided by the one who carries, it's decided by the one that throws the most.

It's the sad reality of things, when your jungler is 0/5 despite lanes going even or even winning but the guy gives up there's just no chance at winning because that one person won't contribute at all. You can have a 0/5 ashe that has good mental and still stuns the carry, an entire team going a little behind but staying positive, but the moment one person starts crying, nothing can be done.

Fragile egos left and right due to the over-competitiveness that Riot enforced throughout the years and Esports so everyone has to be challenger or you're complete dogshit. Everyone has such unrealistic expectations that they won't accept anything but the best, which is impossible.

Change your minds people!

OP is right. The weakest link is usually weak mentally. As in "I lost my lane and the jungler didn't save me... time to quit trying since I can't 1v1 anyone on their team now".

This is one of the biggest problems plaguing the game right now. The weakest link decides the game far too often

Game's are not decided by the one who carries, it's decided by the one that throws the most.

And that player has to be my AD Carry every game ffs

Tilt loses games the most.

game is decided by knowledge, which people don't have now because of role select. so it's basically RNG until you get to a serviceable elo.

I've seen some games where one player will carry against all odds (but if you look more closely it's usually a throw by the opposing team due to a failure to avoid/focus that carry properly). There are also games where we would've won if the fifth player did not act butt hurt and AFK.

Coming off an 8 game win streak, I'd say that not being the weak link (mentally) is huge. Negative comments roll like water off a duck's back. Saying "No" to every surrender vote or outright ignoring them (RIOT please - let me remove surrender vote from my HUD, please, please, please, please). It's just that in my experience the opinions of whiners just don't matter. Some games I was S+ material, and some of these games I was grade C, 0/5 material... but the enemy Nexus was still exploding and Victory coming up on my screen. So attitude makes a difference.

To be fair the fragile egos existed long before league did. There's a reason I tell people that playing this game like its 1v9 is incorrect.

Folks should try positive communication skills some times, wont help for every game but if you can get a team that's behind to agree on a Win condition your more likely to turn it around or keep some one from completely rolling over.

That said, riots behavior systems need a face lift. Its far past the time that we had an engaged Behavior Red. Its a shitty job but necessary one. Soft inting/giving up have become frustratingly common.

Its not surprising, even if its only 1 in 10 or 1 in 20 players who are guilty of fun sucking behaviors you see them dam near constantly due to distribution of 10 humans per game. (10% is a low value in a lot of peoples minds. But that's = 1 in 10. Which in a game of 10 people implies you have 1 player at 10% distribution almost always.)

I dislike rank shaming, Silvers the average not "low" elo. You cant have above average skill and the mathematical context of how good some one is with out an average to compare to.

I dislike shitty sportsmanship like GGEZ or GET WRECKED SCRUBS. You don't have a fucking game with out opponents to play.

Imo, teammates are random, your the only consistent variable in your games. So to quote Ernest Hemingway — ‘There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.

Because everyone wants to be a carry. They might be 0/8/7 and think the game is over, while failing to see their fed ADC running the game.

Its not Riots fault, its peoples fault. They always think their the best, so they HAVE to carry the game.

True Garen9/7/2019, 5:17:37 PM1 votes

Even without somebody throwing, they're generally decided for a while now, by who made the first critical error after 20m.

Aka Riot fixxed the season 3 and 4 problem of how come one person can pop off and the game is over for my team?

doesnt help that boards loves to rank shame you so your opinion is irrelivant then switches so top levels sample size is so small we cant really nerf riven for being broken at top levels

Feathermane9/7/2019, 5:02:52 AM1 votes

This is what the cretins that think top lane doesn't matter miss: if hashinshin's feeding is losing games, that's called a high impact role - he can outweigh the success of 4 people with his failure.

It's both If the enemy has a braindead player and your team has a slightly MORE braindead player then if the skill level is even on both sides it's a toss up, can go either way, if your side however has someone who is much more skilled than the average player then a higher chance to win

SweedishGunner9/7/2019, 8:33:01 AM1 votes

This is very true, last game I played had 9 people playing really well apart from our jungle who might as well have been a bot.

Safe to say we had no chance of winning.

RebeccaUCuber9/7/2019, 11:16:41 AM1 votes

Lux Conqueror jung, afk farming Jax from his first death until 34 minutes, Ashe with spirit Visage and Gaunlet (reason: she doesn't want to die). Alistar who failed 100% of his combo in game and take coin first. All this in Gold.

This are my last 4 ranked. Guess who's not gonna do ranked next season.

A P É9/7/2019, 1:48:30 PM1 votes

ive been saying this for years now. one person cant win you the game but one person can easily throw you the game

Magnesium149/7/2019, 3:28:12 PM1 votes

Your wrong, because the player who throws the most is the player getting most killed by some broken champion released by riot, so it's actually riot that loses the game cause they can't balance a very easy to balance game.
