I loathe ranking up

As the title suggests, I actually hate ranking up in this game. In my experience every new division I go up I start at the very bottom of the ladder with the trolls and people who typically perform worse than I was used to even in the division I just left. I can palpably feel the caliber of player drop. Somehow its a RELIEF when I get trolled so hard that I drop divisions. Cause that means I can have a few decent and fun games until I climb back into the cesspool. This phenomena is most notable when jumping from divisions such as Silver 1 to Gold 5. The players lose basic mechanical sense and any semblance of tactical thought. Has anyone else experienced this?
