Why do players tell their teammates which champions to ban when they are not even playing the lane?????
For example, I queued top lane, and my team forces others to ban 
and 
when I can easily deal with both of them.
And then he tells me to play a tanky top, which is stupid because I can play whatever I want. He can have a tanky pick if he wants a better comp.
frésh6 votesJust because you can deal with certain champs doesnt mean your team can. Irelia and swain have a high winrate and take an entire team to handle in a teamfight. Your teamates cant tell you who to play but they have a right to ban who they think will have the most impact on the game. Playing who you want in general is a privilege in league, but sometime accommodating for your teams weaknesses can be a really effective way to win a game.

I mean they can ban whoever they want. But they aren't even the ones banning. I am the one banning, and I am top lane, and players are telling me who I should ban????? What is wrong with people.

From what I can understand, most of the people in this game (in the lower tiers) want to be the person who 1v9 carries their entire team and gets the most kills/glory. Because of this, they'll do stupid sh't like tell people to "play a tank" (which I've come to understand means "play something who doesn't deal much damage, so I can take the kills easier) or "ban x character" (because they know that if that character is in game, they'll probably go 0-12 and be of little value). The people in the lower tiers don't so much play this game to have "fun", as they do to satisfy their massive egos and rub it in everyone else's faces.

I ended up picking Jayce, haven't played him in a while but it made our composition a thousand times stronger than the enemy's. We had a great laning phase with me covering top and helping bot lane, and adding Jayce made us a very good poking composition going by the damage build.
People are so full of themselves in this game and little things just piss me off.
