Why Pyke is no longer "support"

Originally Pyke ult gave no extra gold for solo kills. Meaning, that if no teammates to assist, then it's a wasted gold, but. That's no longer the case. Pyke is just an assassin with superior self sustain, that popular in support role, but thing is. He has 0 synergy with teammate.

He is stronger as mid, or top, if not countered. He still got the same stuff, but with more gold.

Why is this problematic? Because he still got strong ratios, and good base values. So unless extremely countered he remains relevant, and he comes back easily. He cannot truly lose unless he gets countered so bad, that even minion farm under turret is impossible.

Now there are supports with 0 synergy, that still go as support, but outside the tanks they all got the same weakness. Bad scaling. If you can't get a bunch of kills, or assist as a mage support, then you gona be worthless during the entire midgame. The base damage of these champions are simply too low to be relevant, and without the kills/assist they got not enough gold to buy items. Lux support on lvl7 with no takedowns does full combo on ADC, and he lose ~50% health. If he got an enchanter, then this can be reduced to ~25%, or even 0 with ult.

Riot should decide whether Pyke goes into support role, or to as generic assassin.

Generic assassin: reduce base values on higher ranks, increase ratios to usual assassin level.

Support: reduce ratios, give synergy.

By Pyke support logic you could bring Rengar, or Kha'zix as support. They can deal damage too, and has a bit CC. Or even Yasuo. Strong protection with windwall, good damage, and CC. A quite long CC with ult in fact.

They added back Q and E damage to creeps? Cause how the fuck would he lane vs people with a brain?

Also, he is a support because he is an assassin that can't 100-0 anyone unless he is comically ahead.

Yes, the assassin with 0 damage threat outside ult that requires an enemy to be at a specific hp threshold to work that requires his team to help put players at is a full fledged assassin and not a support.
