Every game I play I get fed in lane but the enemy ADC becomes legendary. Consequently, the ADC becomes untouchable(lockdown cc, shields, etc.), despite the prior emphasis placed on that ADC's death coordinated by my team and I. Due to this, I ask of any possible effective methods for shutting down a dangerous ADC or carry in general for the mid game to late game.

League is full of champions that'll destroy an ADC even if they're fed 1 v 1 in the mid game.

And if your problem is they're getting peeled to hell then try these champs that'll just flat out ignore their support/peel and kill them anyway. 
Unless their sup is 
or something any of these champs can shut em down, especially the ones that ignore peel. And if they're fed with a defensive sup then obviously they were getting jg help, so you can blame yourself for not helping your bot lane with that.
Disclaimer: This is assuming that the assassin isn't gold starved, if that's the case then ff cause with no gold even Faker's just a plat player in this game...

Unless they build really dumb or their team isn't supporting them correctly you have to pressure them into making multiple mistakes in a row. I recently won a game against a hyper fed full build twitch because he went to get sidelane farm at 50 minutes into the game with no vision and he got one shot (No defensive item either).
If you're playing an assassin or mage just kill them, unless it's Vayne.
If you're playing a tank or bruiser, just blame bot lane.
