Garen's Q: "Garen cleanses himself of all slows affecting him and gains 30% bonus movement speed for a few seconds." This sounds much like Master Yi's ultimate: " For 10 seconds, Master Yi gains bonus attack speed, multiplies his movement speed and becomes immune to all slows." Despite this Yi's ult removes attack speed slows (correct me if I'm wrong there), but Garen's Q does not. Why is this?
redniwediS2 votesIt's probably just an oversight, either in how his Q was set up or in how the description is worded. It's probably only supposed to clear you of movement speed slows considering how the rest of his kit is designed, so it's most likely just an issue with the wording.
This Garen1 votesI believe this is the most likely reason as well. But I like the idea of Garen getting rewarded for when he uses Q; that sometimes It's better to hold q to cleanse an incoming status affect rather than to just run at them and hope to hit. I feel like choices such as this increase Garen's limited skill cap, and would like to see the ability do as it says.
