Garen's Q does not remove attack speed slows. Why is this?

Garen's Q: "Garen cleanses himself of all slows affecting him and gains 30% bonus movement speed for a few seconds." This sounds much like Master Yi's ultimate: " For 10 seconds, Master Yi gains bonus attack speed, multiplies his movement speed and becomes immune to all slows." Despite this Yi's ult removes attack speed slows (correct me if I'm wrong there), but Garen's Q does not. Why is this?

It's probably just an oversight, either in how his Q was set up or in how the description is worded. It's probably only supposed to clear you of movement speed slows considering how the rest of his kit is designed, so it's most likely just an issue with the wording.

Yi still gets attack speed reduced even if he is in Ult. Idk about garen.
