I mean, sure, I leveled up today and got 600 BE from the capsule, but I'm saving up for

BubblyRainbows1 votesBelieve me, I wish there WAS a faster way. I have been very unlucky in my level up shards so far. At the rate it's going, I won't have enough BE to unlock Zoe by the time she comes out.
However, and this is only something I saw mentioned on the boards, so I don't know if it's true or not: But someone said that Riot said they were going to add a small BE award to the first win of the day. If it's true, that might help.

Grymmstrike1 votesNot really efficient....I have had horrid luck since the patch came out (Despite a few good games). I'm currently 4-10-1 (Remake) in my games since the update.
I've had an S, S- (Not counting the S- for the remake), 2x A+, 2x A, and an A- as well, and just can't seem to get wins.

Mysticman891 votesYou can buy draven directly with RP, or you can buy XP boosts to level faster and get BE from disenchanting the resulting champ shards, but thats it.
Note that you're ultimately getting BE faster than you got IP in the old system, even if it may not feel like it at first since the payoffs are delayed.

Mysticman891 votesWell, you're in a better spot now than someone starting a year ago, since you get champions faster in the new system, and you don't need to buy runes.
Theres a lot of grumbling because it doesn't feel faster, but it's mathematical fact that it actually is faster, so just keep at it with the leveling.
Grymmstrike2 votesNo, you are not getting BE faster than you used to get IP. You have a small chance at getting BE faster, if you are winning all of your games and getting lucky with the shards. But when you level up and get a 270 BE shard, after 6 games...That's 45 BE per game. And level 31 took 8 games, although I did get a little more expensive shard (960). Under the IP system, I would have gotten around 1300 IP on the low end, for the 4-10 record. Under the new system, I've gotten 1230. Which is less, albeit not by much. However, that's only going from 30-32. When you are going further and further into the levels, you are taking more games to level.

The math is all here (and also here), and riot even knows the actual drop rates of various shards so can use the actual averages (although I believe they do the worst case scenario math there as well), so short of bugs in the system, if you feel you're getting less BE in the new system than you would have gotten in the old one, you're simply wrong.
