CD on pings
Problem: players who constantly think they have to ping a spot 7+ times in a second with the pathetic justification of "sometimes people ignore the first ping".
Simple idea: add two cooldowns to pings. CD would only apply to the same player pinging twice, NOT two players both pinging.
The first cooldown would be a 10s CD to pinging within 800 units of your last ping. (numbers adjustable). So no more spamming twenty pings to tell me a tower is under attack. (Possible Modification: Adjust to 5-8s if the ping is a different kind, i.e. MIA followed by Danger).
The second cooldown would be a global 5-8s (?) cooldown for pings in general. To make sure the assholes thwarted by the first cooldown don't just fling pings all over the general area.
I get that people do sometimes ignore the first ping. But pinging excessively as a solution is pretty much the equivalent of screaming at someone who is ignoring you: immature, ineffective, and annoying to everyone who has to listen to you.
