Is this a meta thing? Like seriously, over 80% of the games I'm in two teammates go bot, they fail to actually secure the enemy bot turret, and we subsequently lose the top 3v4 fight. So the next 10+ minutes are spent trying to recover from that.
The standard setup in Dominion is to have one champion bottom who's an oppressive laner and just leave them there all game, possibly rotating them top once they have a full inventory due to minion gold. Just remember the frequent ganks! Everyone else goes top to control the jungle and contest points.
Sending two people bottom is a terrible idea, you'll lose top almost without question.
It's a "new players don't understand the 4-top meta" thing. Particularly so because 2-bot works just fine against Beginner Bots, but then sub-30 scrubs try that against Intermediate Bots and the results are just as are describe.
Maybe they are bots.
People actually play this mode? I can never get a game
this is so annoying. multiple people leave top just to get nothing done anywhere else except costing us top or our own points... I think if the team can handle the 3v4 top and bot is having trouble, it would be fine, or like someone else said if one of the people bot can at least stop the other team from capping their point, it can possibly work, but that rarely happens when Isee people go 2 bot
This only works with Rammus and Ghost+Mobi and then Rammus goes straight to their bot to interrupt the capture.
In any other scenario I think this is a bad idea.
They probably don't know the meta for anything other than SR. I've been playing this game for years and have no clue what the meta Is for other maps.
I haven't played dominion since I was lvl 10 and I know only 1 goes bot...
