Deathfire Touch vs Thunderlord's Decree
My logic
Deathfire Touch = long range mages, can kite/harass/poke consistently, DOT abilities, low CD, these champions can safely farm/waveclear from distance with little interruption

Thuderlord's Decree = all assassins, any melee mage, short range mages, AA heavy mages and any champ that likes to cycle a combo then fallback until they can cycle the whole combo again

I would like this train of thought to be reassured or corrected by G1+ players, please and thank you.

which I run as tanks with Bond of Stone.
recently, and I've found that in early game, the extra movespeed to stick onto your target or get away is very useful. Once you get into late game, you usually can't oneshot unless you're 1) super fed (which I usually am, so...) 2) they're squishy and you need to use ur ult. Of course, that's mainly cuz I usually mess up my Rav reset and/or miss my W. So if you jump on someone in a teamfight (well, before a teamfight) and take out half of their life, you get the extra movespeed to run away. Besides, the cooldown on Stormraider's is a lot more manageble - 10 seconds. At max rank with CDR,
