How to ACTUALLY "nerf" Yasuo and at the same time increased required skill
His shield is the only thing that prevents him from being on Lux level squishy. If we took that away, we'd need Yasuo to be glass cannon. That's a problem, because it's gonna be harder to balance him from there on.
Here's how his shield should work. (Note that his shield is a resource bar technically, so this can open up certain changes)
His shield should be a shield, and at the same time, be a resource bar. How? Like this.
**Wind Wall costs 50% of his maximum flow. If flow is below 50% maximum flow, Yasuo can not cast Wind Wall. In baby terms, say Yasuo has 110 flow. If he casts Wind Wall, his flow is reduced to 55. If his flow is below 55 (half of his maximum flow), he can not cast Wind Wall. This means that Yasuo has basically 2 CD's on his wall. He has to account for if he can cast it in the first place(cooldown), and if he has enough flow. **
This allows room for counterplay as if he uses wind wall JUST above 50% maximum flow, he wont have a shield for a while. This makes him not as squishy as removing his flow shield entirely, but still more squishy than before. We can compensate this by buffing his sad base stats or something. Maybe just buffing his MR and Armor would do.
Cool, we just solved 2 problems with 1 change. Now he can have only 1 defensive thing going on at once. His skill floor is increased. However, Yasuo is pretty weak right now so he should for sure get some kind of buff if what I suggest actually goes through.
Thoughts?
