Pantheon is a super annoying top laner too. His kit is more cancerous than Yasuo's (and can hard counter Yasuo as well if you're good enough) with his combo that just takes away a massive chunk of your HP each time he goes in.

Absurd? All you have to do is build 1 item 1031 on first back and jayce does no damage lol.

Just look at champions like Singed. First back buy a Cloth and boom, jayce is useless until he get black cleaver. And to counter black cleaver, build health.

That's easy enough for champions who make use of the armor, but for those that have to go off-build to buy the armor, that significantly screws them for mid-game.

Armor alone is not sufficient to stop Jayce. While it lowers his poke (autoattacks, Q), his all-in remains rather potent due to:

Swapping to Cannon-Form makes his next autoattack reduce armor and MR
Hammer-W deals magic damage
Hammer-E deals AD-scaling magic damage
Swapping to Hammer Form makes his next autoattack deal AD-scaling magic damage

While it isn't as common as it used to be, Jayce still has the option of building an early Black Cleaver against armor-stacking champions.

Hammer E doesnt do much dame till late game when it has 3+ points in it.

Hammer W deals 100 magic damage over 4 seconds. Being next to someone in hammer mode as jayce for more than 4 seconds is not smart, and 100 - 30 (mr) = 70 damage. Not worth.
