Is Mundo a viable top? He only has around a 47% win rate in top lane as of now. He doesn't really have any viability to me except be tanky and either walk all over the enemy in a team fight or just getting melted in one without truly contributing anything.
Maybe Mundo needs a few buffs in upcoming patches?

Maximum Zilean1 votesMundo is actually decent right now. he isn't a tank that really forces fights, but more of a tank that gets on someone and never leaves them alone. also his damage for a tank is pretty high. Meaning if ignored, he will kill their carry.
At best, the only real way for him to initiate a fight is flanking team fights with teleport and cutting off the enemy teams escape route.
And winrate isn't the best indicator of a champion being good or not. My sugestion would be, If you like Mundo. Use him. If your personally good with Mundo, use him.
Below gold-platinum, you can use pretty much anything and succeed if your good with it if its not 100% trolling. Player skill is the biggest deciding factor below high platinum.

especially, no. I literally laughed aloud the other day when someone first picked mundo. I ran smite / ignite FIzz. Stole red at like 8 minutes. Came back and overkilled the shit out of him. Three dots and a damage amplification and a grevious. RIP
YumaS2Astral1 votesFizz was actually more of a counter to Mundo when he had Griveous Wounds. Not that he is still a counter, but if people at time knew that Fizz was viable as an AD champion, Mundo would not be considered viable for top lane.
ShaftyMegee1 votesI think he's decent. He has good harass with his q, a built in merchandise tread in his w (if it's on) and an attack damage steroid on his e... and his ult? Makes it so he is VERY hard to kill. He isn't amazing, but he is a decent top.
EDIT: just because someone says a champ is bad doesn't make them bad, and win rates don't mean jack shit
