How to stop Master Yi
I know cc is supposed to stop him, but even in games when my team has cc, he still seems to stomp. Any tips?

Counter ganks and CC are your friend against him. Tbh though he needs a rework and every time I see him it makes me rage lol.
Wait until after he Qs to CC, so many bad players panic and fire their abilities at him while he is untargetable. Result: stomp.
Even with his ult up, Yi isn't really that threatening when it comes to ganks. Simply warding further out will help you prepare for him since he doesn't have any CC to assist with ganks.
Counterganking is also good against him because as I've said already he doesn't really bring much to a small fight that would occur in lane.
Just don't let him catch you off-guard early game and you'll be fine. Also, watch how your enemy behaves in lane because he relies on his team to set up his ganks unless you over-extend.

1.) Control him via stuns and then blow him out as a group. Yi cannot initiate as long as he isn't hyper fed and you have a nice group together. Doing so would be suicide for him. He wants to pick one off and blow them out.
2.) Stay. Together. Always. Together. Never. Seperate. F#$@($ Group. Yi is extremely bad at initiating into large groups of enemies. So being close means he can't really kill you.

He has no escape except running away with ult, but even that movespeed boost isn't the greatest

The tl;dr is that Master Yi has some really weak macro gameplay. Sure if you're caught in a duel with him Yi may seem overwhelming, but in terms of strategy and playing the map around him, he suffers greatly.

He is really weak early game so hinder his farming/hunt him down.

like maokai/malz/lulu etc. also always try to use that CC after Yi has used his Q.
if u want to 1v1 him, pick any braindead fighter champ like Jax/Xin/Fiora/Tryndamere.
but if Yi is super fed like 17-3 or something and you're ADC/mid laner, chances are you'll die super easy. You'll need above average team work in such case. but this applies to every super fed champion, not just a Yi problem.
Get your jungler play Xin, and run after Yi like some kind of sick stalker, chasing everywhere Yi goes to molest him and pump his ass.
