Solo Vs. Dynamic Conundrum & The Devaluing of Ranked Achievements
That's the issue is it not? We all know what issues are there's no need to over them. We know that if Solo Q comes back this will hurt Q times in both of them and dynamic rankings will lose so much value and meaning that it will be ranked 5's only easier and even less prestigious...basically your reward farming if you play and thats the story.
What you may not have realized is this: Since there is NO ENTRY REQUIREMENTS at all, this makes Bronze equivalent to normal Q...and really even less than normal Q because you start with 1200 MMR which is silver 5..if you place bronze that means your are literally worse than new kids who havent played at all yet (as far as elo and mmr). Because there is no Gating here Bronze is irrelevant, you dont have to earn it, you just get it for clicking the GO button...like ip from normals..its just there. Now if Bronze has ZERO value..that makes silver the true ranked bronze division. Which is bad..because that drops EVERYBODY. Gold=Silver / Platinum=Gold / Diamond=Platinum /Master=Diamond and Challenger=Master. It devalues the entire system.
Well im offering solutions to increase the value of ranked and help with the Sole Vs. Dynamic Queue paradox

Bring back Solo Queue
Allow Dynamic Queue to be the replacement of ranked 5's with its own mmr and rewards, allow hextech crafting to remain in all Queue's

here lies the actual answer. Before a player chooses to play ranked he will be met with a dialogue box
>If you choose to enter the ranked system ALL normal Queue's will be disabled for the entirety of the regular season. IF You qualify. Requirements to qualify are as follows:
- An average of B champion mastery across all champions played in your placements.
- 49% win rate minimum.
- placements will be extended to 20 games for First Time Ranked Accounts All returning players will only have to play 10 placements.
- Custom games will still be available should you have the need to practice or play unranked unsanctioned matches.
- You may leave ranked ONCE at anytime per season for free, should you return and try to leave again it will cost 1200 RP
- Anytime you leave ranked all progress will be wiped out and MMR reset.
Yes i am aware of the mmr reset exploit..if they want to pay to keep resetting their mmr....let the morons pay. Besides, they have 14 smurf accounts anyway so the difference is minimal. Masters smash bronzies on the daily with their unranked to diamond showboat series (Im lookin at you N3AC3Y) So spare me the "it will be abused" song and dance.
This will put a minimum skill level for ranked. Which for all ranked players, dynamic or solo, will raise the effective quality of ALL matches for ALL divisions. Bronze as of today is completely meaningless. Any normal match is just as incoherent and competitive as a bronze 5 match regardless if you go bot lane Azir and Renekton and share farm or pick the strongest meta lane possible. There is no minimum skill for ranked right now, so bronze isnt an achievement its actually a punishment..its a black stain...its a reason for people to put you down and debase you for being "trash"
That isnt right...you are playing competitively and doing your best. Getting Bronze "any division" should matter. So it has to be Gated. Well there is your answer to how to gate it.
Also Bronze should then be worthy of a border and icon just like everybody else once there is an actual hurdle to get into ranked.
This in theory should help with the Q times a little bit. Once you play ranked you have commited to ranked this season and wont be in normal Queue, so splitting between the two ranked options should work out better for "most" people.

A. let more lower elo plebs into your challenger/master Q
This is sad face for everybody and you know it
B. help people get better and climb. Create a mentor/coach system in the game where players 2 tiers above or master/challenger can sign up to be coaches and help the plebs become higher ranked and get that challenge rating. It will pay some ration of RP to the coach for each division the student climbs up from where he started. If they drop , they will only get paid once per rank. So plat 5 goes back to gold 1 then to plat 5 again the coach gets RP ONLY for the first time hi got to Plat5, if plat 5 is where he started he will get nothing because he didnt climb anywhere.
Thats what i got, its a start not a perfect system but its the right direction.
