with spirit stone every champ could jungle to some extent morgana, brand, orianna, akali, galio, kassadin, malzahar, lulu this season, only champs meant for jungling can jungle considering only two of the smites are actually useful (trailblazer and chilling smite) skirmisher was useful earlier in the season, but poachers knife was and always will be useless we have a smite enchantment for ad junglers, one for tanks, one for a small amount of ap junglers, and one for the same champs that abused feral flare last season. why can we not have spirit stone? seriously, it made the jungle infinitely diverse.

Thats the point. They don't want every champ to be able to jungle. Also people doing the mad stone setup were too strong. With the amount of impact junglers have in the game everyone shouldnt be able to jungle. Just as well jungles shouldnt be able to walk out of the jungle stronger then someone with 5 kills and moderate cs. Jungles also should not be able to power farm and still be able to pressure lanes early. The jungle is actually in a good spot. Out of what? 123 champions there are what? 25 champions who can jungle extremely well Sejuani Amumu Elise Evelynn Fiddlesticks Gragas Hecarim JarvanIV Khazix LeeSin Nidalee MasterYi Maokai Pantheon RekSai Rengar Shaco Shyvana Sion Skarner Udyr Warwick MonkeyKing XinZhao and what like another 10 niche jungles? Volibear Zac Trundle Nautilus Malphite Jax Aatrox Diana Chogath Irelia thats 35 champions that either commonly jungle very well or can jungle very well by someone who plays them. Not to mention a crap ton of other champions that can jungle but just arent viable like vayne, karthus etc. There are 5 roles and I think the fact that almost a 1/3 of champions can jungle well is pretty healthy. If you want to jungle morg play normals or bots. Not every champions should be able to play every single role because a certain item allows them to shed the weakness they have that prevents them from doing so.
