This is literally pathetic on all levels. You Que for a game. Ranked or not. And you don't say a word in the lobby. Are you really just that ignorant? Or are you merely just stupid. We know you have a keyboard, use it. This is getting out of control and its pathetic especially in ranked.

If you tell them that communication is important in champ select they'll just flame you and report you after the game. It's the same shit straight to high Plat. Politely ask for communication, get mocked and insulted then reported for verbal abuse/negative attitude.
Hopefully when they finally implement team builder for ranked it won't be an instant loss in champ select anymore.

Hayaishi21 votesWhether people are talking in lobby or not doesn't determine if you lose or win, i can speak from experience that the ones are always talking in lobby are usually the first to rage, i prefer when people don't say a word.
You don't need to say anything in lobby, not even your lane/role unless you really need to, we didn't queue to make friends we queue to win and we know exactly how to do it.
Communication is worth crap in soloqueue champ select.

Then goes afk to do what ever and doesn't tell the team if he's going to jungle swain or if he just forgot to change his summoner spells. So then you guess hes "playing an off meta pick in an off meta role because so many people on the boards say its okay" and you lock in a mid laner and dont have anyone to jungle because he gets back to the game after its started and says "whoops, well i'm still going mid"

That's a very specific example, people lock champions all the time without saying a word and nobody trolls.
Dreadlocks2 votesI think its examples like this that he is complaining about. Like, when brand locks in with exhaust but doesn't tell the team if he's mid or support. Taking exhaust mid isn't a bad idea by any means, so why not just take the time to type "mid" before going afk. SURE you can have an entire draft where no1 says a word about where they are going and things are fine. Its just common that someone doesn't inform the rest of the team what they are doing before going afk when it matters.
