I disagree with the new Zed bio

For me, it’s usually the lores and the appearance of a champion that makes me want to play them. I actually feel a little emotionally attached to them because of their lore. Zed’s old lore showed that he was an emotional wreck and made some HORRIBLE mistakes. And Riot had no censor in his story on how relentless he was. Now they changed his story from being consumed by the shadows and becoming egotistical to a “fighter of inonia”. Zed is supposed to be a solo, egotistical person who wants to spread his shadow order. I feel like Riot is just trying to give champions some type heroic feeling to them. I liked how ruthless and greedy Zed was. It made his character and showed how some people can develop some terrible ways and not always just be a hero.

Except, he is still ruthless, and still fairly greedy. Although he does fight for justice, no matter the means necessary, and although he does want to save Ionia, he's not at all Superman or Shazam. Rather, he's more of Red Hood, or Ra's Al Ghul. All this did was expand his timeline, showing HOW he got to be so ruthless and greedy (i.e. being an emotional wreck bc of Jhin), while still keeping in line with WHY he went down that path (i.e. rebelling against Kinkou to save Ionia due to their incompetency).

Zed and yasuo lore changes left a bad taste for me

Yas went from hero who chose to abandon his post to turn the tide of a fight Now he didn't get to the fight and his master died with yasuo accomplishing nothing
